Save the Date...December 6th Room for Joy Event

On December 6th the Power of U along with Urban Kidz and Right Toyota will be sponsoring a night of 100 stars benefiting Room for Joy a local charity dedicated to creating custom bedrooms and fullfilling the dreams of chronically ill children. The organization creates dream bedrooms based on the childs imagination and unique interests. Come join us on December 6th at the shops at Gainey Village 8787 North Scottsdale, Scottsdale, AZ 3:00 p.m to 5:30 p.m. with a magician, face painting, Miss Teen Arizona, raffles and more....the highlight a childrens charity fashion show from 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. showcasing our communities children who want to be a part of helping out the Room for Joy reciepients.

City of Tempe 32nd Halloween Festival

What a great time we had at the 32nd Annual Halloween Festival held at Kiwanis Park through the City of Tempe. Over 600 Children and their families came by the Power of U booth to pick a lollipop from the infamous lollipop tree or to toss a roll of toliet paper into the toliet bowl. The highlight for most children was flushing the toliet and listening to the jingle of the bell. So many smiles throughout the night. What a wondeful job the City of Tempe did hosting this great event. We cannot wait for next year!

Met the Raw Food Godess

Oh my gosh what can I say...The Power of U has partnered up with Julia Alban "Raw Food Goddess" extrodinaire!

We are adding on classes! Starting on September 30 the power of U will be alive and well at the Childhelp Keys Community Center in Phoenix and Red Mountain Ranch Country Club in East Mesa. Check out our website for more information.

Fox News Channel 10 & The City of Tempe has chosen The Power of U

The Power of U will be holding a mock class tomorrow for Fox news Channel 10. Channel 10 will be on site to interview us and tape pieces of the class to air at a future date. We are so excited for this unexpected but much appreciated opportunity to spread the word to the Phoenix area on health and well being and to be able to give the community a taste of what they can expect this fall.

A very big thank you goes out to all who have been so supportive of this mission and those individual who helped me pull this together in a short amount of time. You all know who you are and I want you to know YOUR # 1 in my book.

A special thank you to the kids and their parents for being a part of the mock class. Without your help this dynamic program would not have been able to show its ingenuity!

Working on Spreading the Good Word

Todays Goal is to put together the proposal for the Keys Community Center. We are excited to get involved with such a great group. We are looking to begin with the K-3 children. We are also following up with the Tempe Schools Assistant Superintendent and Queen Creek School Superintendent. I am positive we will be sharing the Power of U with all of these groups in the foreseeable future. Go Team!

Focus Group Data

It has been a process to collect all the data from our Focus Group and then put into a database for use. I am happy to say the database has been completed and the graphing is being created and will be posted later this week. What interesting comments and thoughts from our group.
